The House at Christianshavn (1970)
The series follows the residents of an apartment building on Copenhagen's Christianshavn, as they go about their daily lives and challenges. There is Olsen, a mover with an old fashion view of the world, Clausen who runs the local pet shop, Egon the career focused assistant, their wives who work hard to keep their spouses lives together, the young couple Tue and Rikke who recently moved in, the hard working caretaker Meyer, who never puts in to much effort, and of course Emma, the innkeeper of Rottehullet, where all the important decisions are made while running up the bar tab. The series was produced by Nordisk Film for Danmarks Radio TV station between the years 1970-77. The series' first director was Ebbe Langberg, then Erik Balling and Tom Hedegaard respectively. The series was conceived by an author team of well-known Danish authors such Leif Panduro, Benny Andersen, and Lise Nørgaard.

Episode 1 - A fairwell to taxes
Release Date: 1974-04-06Mr. Olsen, Larsen, and Emma have received their annual tax statements and are feeling resentment towards the government. Olsen comes up with a plan on how to never pay taxes again, but that is easier said than done, while Larsen reconsiders his honest and law abiding life.

Episode 3 - Getting to know each other
Release Date: 1974-04-20Eva is one of Olsen's customers, but she has no place to live. Olsen tries to get her in with one of the tenants of the house, he even tries Bo who is always ready to help a woman, but his girlfriend says no. Eva ends up spending the night in Olsen's moving van.

Episode 4 - In the interest of a monitor lizard
Release Date: 1974-04-27A feminist named Tippe comes to the house at Christianshavn, and thanks to her, the wives begin to open their eyes to new things. This results in Mrs. Clausen wanting a divorce, and she is taking the monitor lizard with her.

Release Date: 1974-05-04The missionary needs money to help people in need, mostly himself. Therefore, the neighbourhood is called to a meeting at Rottehullet.
