Manchester and Wales (GB)
Nienke continues her journey through England and Wales. She visits Manchester, the city where the Industrial Revolution began. She visits places that played a role in this development. Nienke then continues her road trip and arrives in Wales. In Eryri national park, also known as Snowdonia, she sleeps in an unusual place: 400 metres underground in an old mine. She then travels on to Bardsey: a tiny island just off the coast of Wales.
