Mark Saber (1954)
Mark Saber refers to a half-hour 1950s detective television series that took different forms and titles during its run. Tom Conway portrayed Mark Saber as a plainclothes English detective working with the Homicide Division of the N.Y.P.D. in Mystery Theater which aired on ABC from October 1951 to June 1954. Donald Gray portrayed Mark Saber as a one-armed private detective based in London. In The Vise which aired on ABC from September 1955 to June 1957. Donald Gray also portrayed Mark Saber in Saber of London which aired on NBC from October 1957 to May 1960.

Episode 1 - Broken Journey
Release Date: 1959-09-06An elderly employee of a jewelry firm carrying a bag of diamonds stops in at a roadside restaurant for a cup of coffee and disappears. Convinced that he is not a thief, his daughter appeals to Mark Saber to find him and prove his innocence.

Release Date: 1959-09-20Ross the Jewellers received an uncut diamond from Wainwrights worth £50,000. They polished it and courier, Jessica Roberts was taking it to Jonathan French to be cut. A car pulls up and a man steals the diamond. Mark Saber is called in.

Release Date: 1959-10-18American Kim Muller arrives in Britain to work for lecturer Mr. Harding. She finds his dead body but knocked unconscious. No body is found and his housekeeper says he is in Scotland. Mark Saber offers to help when Harding is found shot.

Release Date: 1959-10-25The body of Dora Daine is discovered, by the police. This is the third murder of it's kind and is known as the "Full Moon Murders". The suspect "John Smith" has many alias's. Ann learns he is now in Brighton using the name Captain Brigham.

Release Date: 1960-04-03William Pelham, the accountant for Inter Dominion Builders jumps to his death. It's called suicide and his family will get nothing, once his gambling debts are paid. Mark Saber believes it's murder and sets a trap to smoke out the killer.
