Sefyu

Sefyu, real name Youssef Soukouna, born April 20, 1981 in Paris, is a French rapper, of Senegalese origin. As a teenager he was promoted to a career as a professional footballer, at the same time he rapped in the NCC group. He put an end to his sports career to improve his musical skills in the early 2000s. He published his first solo album, "Qui Suis-Je?", in May 2006. Then two years later, in 2008, "Am I My Brother's Keeper?". He published his third solo album entitled "Oui Je Le Suis" in October 2011. In 2012 he released the clip-fiction "Viens pas ici", a pioneer in the genre that would make headlines, and it was on April 12, 2019 that Sefyu publishes his fourth solo album, "Yusef", 8 years after his last project. Sefyu has accumulated certifications and prizes throughout his career: Artist or Public Revelation at the Victoires de la Musique with his album "Am I my brother's keeper?"
