Caroll Spinney, Puppeteer Behind Big Bird and Oscar the Grouch, Dies at 85

Caroll Spinney, the puppeteer who played Big Bird and Oscar the Grouch for 49 years at “Sesame Street,” died Sunday in Connecticut after living with dystonia.
